My cat has found a new hiding place. This is the bottom of my bass case. Hopefully, she won't pee in it like she has previously.

I had no idea that cats love whole ears of corn. Or, maybe it's just my cat. She always has her head in the bag, munching on the husk.

This seems to be the only picture I took today. The kid, the cat, and I were all hanging out in the bathroom. It was quite cozy.

I found the cat curled up inside the folded-up tunnel. That's a new place for her.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I forgot to take a picture of all the green.

Our cat hardly ever climbs up onto counters and tables. I think she was trying to hide.

Didn't take too many pictures today. Here is one of the tyke chasing and torturing the cat.

Another kid and kitty picture. What surprises me about this picture is that I managed to capture the sun coming in from the sliding doors (mostly) without blowing it out. The faces are a little dark, but it is something I could fix in post-editing, if I were ambitious enough.

Again, one of the only decent pictures of the day. Taken with phone camera. My son likes hunting down the cat, and finding her hiding spots.

January 20th

Did a few things today - completed my Two Peas Week 3 which focuses on white balance. Click here for pictures. Also got an early morning picture of the kitty. I usually find her hanging out on this cube.

And I got a remote shutter release for the camera. I took this in a quickly dimming room, with a 2 second exposure, ISO 200, f/6.3.

Yet another kitty picture. I love her soft furry belly. I named her Sienna because of the color of her fur there.

I was stuck to the couch for most of the afternoon. This was the kitty from my POV. I had to use the manual focus, which is why it is a little blurry.
