We went to a seder Monday night. This is the second year our friend has hosted one and we've attended. This may be an annual tradition.

I tried to make baked plantains today. They didn't turn out so well.

All the azaleas are in bloom right now. It's a bit late this year, but that makes sense with the weather we've had.

We tried to gostrawberry picking today. The patch was closed, but these guys were hanging out around the corner.

Look what came in the mail today! I know what I'll be doing over Spring Break.

I have a food project that involves these balloons. We'll see how it goes.

Today was Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry's. We had a lunch date. Hubs had Sweet Cream and Cookie. I had Chocolate Therapy.

It did the job.

Another day of phone-pics only. The squirt was feeling under the weather this day. Most of the time he had this look on his face.

79. March 21st

I went back to the Arts Festival, but it rained and I didn't find out the name of the artist in the previous post. Oh well. I did browse a toy shop that had lots of cool kites. I'm tempted to buy one for the squirt's room.

78. Marcy 20th

There is an arts festival this weekend. I'm not sure what the protocal is for photographing artists' work. I snuck this shot in from behind the tent. I'm going back tomorrow, so will find out the artist's name, and give credit to him.

I was not able to take any pictures this day. Here is another from the previous day. I love these trees. They are all over our neighborhood. I'm not sure what kind they are, but the leaves look so fluffy.

Happy St. Patrick's Day. We were sure to wear green today.

Mmmm...bananas. This is the first "real" food we've given our son, other than rice cereal. He gobbled up the whole cup.

This flower popped up in our front lawn. I have no idea what it is, but I like it!

This is a crepe myrtle. They get severely pruned in the early spring, and will be in full bloom soon. I'll check back on it in a few months.

Homemade marshmallows flavored with Irish Cream.

I was cooking a sugar syrup to make marshmallows. Cleaning up the sugar is the hardest (and messiest) part.

I had rehearsals and a concert this day, and did not touch the camera. I give you another picture from the previous day. This is the gutter of a neighbor's house. I wonder how well it drains.

Still catching up on posts. The 2nd graders at one of my schools are learning about rainbows in Science. They put together a poster answering, "Why is the sky blue? Why are sunsets red?"

Wow, I've made it two months so far! Sadly, I forgot to bring my camera with me on Monday, and the only pictures I took were with the camera on my phone. This is the bridge of my instrument. I have rehearsals all week for a concert on Saturday.

58. February 28th

I visited a friend who was performing in a folk concert at Leu Gardens. My son started fussing during the performance, so I slipped out onto this patio and enjoyed the view. We must come back when we have more time to explore the rest of the gardens.
